During the first half of the season we focused our training on fun and games as well as ball handling. This build a great team spirit and our players started to understand that they are playing with one another rather than against one another.

During the second half we decided the take the older players in one group in order to prepare them better for the U8's. While the younger group continued with slightly easier drills and games, the older group started to progress to drills necessary for the U8's such as ball handling, presenting the ball, passing, supporting a your team mate and 1 vs. 1 up to 4 vs. 4.

We are really proud of the progression all of the players have made and how they started to work as a team, even at this young age.

We are looking forward to next season and wish all players joining the U8's a successful start.

Lastly we would like to say a huge thank you to all parents who volunteered as coaches and put their free time and effort in helping us form this team. We could not have done it with out you and we are very grateful to have you.
