Promising Performances and Positive Progress

This weekend’s tournament saw our U10 squad split into two teams: the Blue Team, made up of younger and less experienced players, and the White Team, composed mostly of players in their second season. Both teams showed plenty of learning moments and positive performances.

The Blue Team faced some challenges, particularly in tackling and defensive organization, but every player showed potential. Despite the tough games, the team displayed determination and flashes of brilliance, which we’ll focus on developing in upcoming training sessions.

The White Team, as expected, delivered a well-organized and cohesive performance. They secured impressive victories over Zurich (19-9) and Lugano (13-3), thanks to powerful runs from the forwards and excellent leadership in the backs. Strong communication and game management were key factors in the team’s success, along with their ability to run in some big scores.

Key contributions came from across the squad, with strong tackling, powerful runs, and solid teamwork standing out. Several players showed leadership on the field, helping to direct play and create scoring opportunities. The focus on discipline and teamwork is clearly paying off, and we’re excited to continue building on this progress.

Overall, it was a productive day for the squad, and we’re looking forward to more growth and success as we focus on the fundamentals and team development in the weeks ahead.
